On October 13, 2021, the Energy Storage Equipment Technical Committee of the China Electricity Technology Market Association held the second symposium on the formulation of two group standards, namely "Technical Specifications for the Integration of Battery Energy Storage Systems" and "Technical Requirements and Test Methods for the Echelon Utilization of Retired Batteries for Energy Storage Systems", to discuss and formulate the standards of energy storage-related groups. Walter Zhang, Product Line Director of TWS Technology, was invited to attend the meeting and discussed with nearly 30 experts from other peer companies and associations, and worked with the experts to further improve the standard writing structure and put forward relevant modification suggestions.

The continuous development of energy storage technology applications has put forward new requirements for standard formulation. The purpose of the formulation of the group standards is to take energy storage as the main scenario of standardized and large-scale battery echelon utilization, unite industry forces and gather industry wisdom, and serve the healthy and long-term development of the battery energy storage industry.?As an important part of the industry, TWS Technology has provided relevant input from the application scope of commercial energy storage systems and the main components of the system, and will continue to provide suggestions and cooperate with the formulation of standards, to contribute to the healthy and sustainable development of the industry.
