The Africa Energy Indaba 2024 was held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from March 5-7. TWS Technology presented its ProeM series of C&I liquid-cooling ESS cabinets, integrated optical storage and charging microgrid system and other ESS solutions at the show, providing customers in the South African market with a new one-stop experience of ESS application scenarios.
?
During the exhibition, Mr. Samson Gwede Mantashe, Minister of Mineral and Energy Resources of South Africa, visited TWS booth and had in-depth communication with TWS staffs. Minister Mantashe highly appreciated TWS’s technical research and development strength and expanded portfolie in the field of rechargeable energy storage, and expressed his eager expectation to deepen cooperation with TWS and other Chinese enterprises in the future.

More significantly, at the beginning of 2024, TWS has successfully reached cooperation with a South African customer to provide ProeM C&I liquid cooling ESS cabinets with the total capacity of 6MWh, which will be completed and delivered soon. This contract not only lays the foundation for TWS to enter the South African market, but also marks a new breakthrough of the business expansion in overseas ESS market.
?
At this exhibition, TWS demonstrated its comprehensive ESS solutions used for various application scenarios, including power-side, grid-side, user-side such as commercial and industrial ESS, and had in-depth discussions on the needs and challenges of ESS cooperation with a number of African companies.

Taking the South African market as a starting point, TWS will continue to plunge into the global new energy market, and work with global partners to promote the continuous development and application of ESS technology to achieve the company's global strategy. Through continuous improvement of technological ability and optimisation of product mix, TWS will provide more creative ESS solutions in better quality and more efficiency to global customers, helping to achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals and contributing to the global green energy transformation.
